In a little over two months SONICBEET.COM \ downtownmusic @ Flickr reached 100 photos. So far it didn’t bring almost any attention. Guess it is normal.

Manny of DMG always escapes photographers. And then complains that there is not any picture of him on the DOWNTOWNMUSIC.NET. Not anymore though. I used an opportunity while he was working the door at The Stone last Sunday. Now you can look and remember this man.

Friends form metropolis – a blog and online-shop for jazz, improvised and ‘unheard’ music – published a small interview with me today. All the questions were sent to me at once, hence, technically specking, it is not an interview, but a questionnaire. It also features a nice set of concert photos put in a flash animation.

Two things I photograph often: reflections and patterns. Since it is the first “photo” entry I chose the image which represents both trends. Plus it opens a small series of photos from the trip to Italy in April of this year. The picture was taken inside St. Peter Basilica di San Pietro in Vaticano aka Saint Peter’s Basilica.
