I met Alex at the Umbrella Music Festival where he played in Chicago in Nov 09 both solo and in duet with Paul Lovens. At that time, no beard and this is a completely different look! I managed to sit about 10 feet away for the solo set at the Velvet Lounge and it is hard to believe that he is 70! GO AvS! This is a great picture of a great man.
